Privacy policy

The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run a membership footage library — your account email, your membership status, and basic site analytics. We don't sell your information to anyone.

What we collect

  • Account details. When you create an account: your name, email address, and a password (stored only as a secure hash — we can't see it).
  • Membership and billing status. Which plan you're on and whether it's active, linked to the email you paid with.
  • Payment information — handled by Stripe. Card numbers and billing details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor. They never touch our servers and we never see them.
  • Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). This uses cookies.
  • Technical logs. Our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare-based) records standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and rate limiting.

How we use it

  • To operate your account and deliver footage downloads to active members.
  • To process subscriptions, renewals, and cancellations through Stripe.
  • To respond when you contact us for support.
  • To understand site usage and improve the library.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell or rent your personal information.
  • We don't share it with third parties beyond the services named above (Stripe, Google Analytics, and our hosting providers), each of which processes it under their own privacy terms.
  • We don't send marketing email you didn't sign up for.

Cookies

We use cookies for two things: keeping you signed in, and Google Analytics. Blocking analytics cookies in your browser won't affect your membership.

Data retention and your rights

We keep account and membership records while your account exists. Email support@ithacadrone.com to request a copy of the information we hold about you, or to have your account and data deleted. Billing records may be retained where required for tax and accounting purposes.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the effective date above and note the change on this page.
